Long awaited, spring is finally here! The weather has been gorgeous and we finally have been able to go outside without having to put on 15 layers of clothing in fear of frostbite. With that said, here are a few lovely pictures of what spring is like in Cincinnati and what we have been up to here at the Fenno house:
John cleaning out the fountain. THAT was another interesting story which includes 12 ft water worms.
Adobe getting brushed, it is definitely shedding season for her!
We added a railing to the front porch....with the help of some wonderful neighbors.
Before the railing, or rather the process...
Then this past Sunday we mulched, there is the nice pile that was right on the driveway.
It was a family effort,
and the snow shovel really came in handy believe it or not!
Even the animals helped us out, well for entertainment purposes only.
And here is the completed look: yard was fertilized, mulch was put down, a railing put up and a little bit of trimming. This seriously has been what I do on the weekends for the past month, but its rewarding, really and quite pretty. It makes me want to roll in the grass and hang out outside!

ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome! We've been doing a lot of yard work lately too. It's so exhausting, but it is so rewarding too. Now you'll get to enjoy it for the rest of the year!
