Mazda Bean, my cat, who is also my helper ...tends to always be with me. After 7 years, he has learned the following:
1. Not to walk on fabric
2. Not to walk or lay on pattern pieces on the floor
3. Beads are not toys and to stay away from them
The three things he hasn't learned yet:
1. Not to 'scream/meow' every time I talk on the phone. People seriously ask me if that is a screaming kid in the background and I just have to tell them I have an insane cat.
2. Not to eat thread out of my serger or sewing machine (close call a few weeks ago)
3. And lastly, not to sleep in my shipping box!
This is my sincere apology if I have recently sent out your order and there were little furs stuck in the tape.

awe, yes. they always like to lay where you don't want them. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd now, the rest of the story.
ReplyDeleteMark, that is TOO funny. I sometimes think he wants to be boxed up and shipped to Austin since it's so cold up here. Want a cat?
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought my cat was the only one insanely jealous of the phone. When I was job hunting in the 90s, she would make such a fuss during phone interviews that the companies all thought I had a baby in the house. It took more than a little convincing for some that I was single with no children. Of course, it did work to my advantage because I quickly learned if the interviewer liked animals and had a sense of humor. Hire me, put up with my cat. LOL
