Happy Birthday Mr. Mazda Beans- A look through the Fenno years

If you have been a follower of my blog, you know that I couldn't adore my little fashion assistant more. Mr. Mazda Bean is my cat & he turned 8 yesterday! In the past 8 years this poor cat has been through it, seriously.
He has lived in 4 different states, went through John & my college stress, I mean really...I think he deserves a degree in both fashion design & industrial design. After all, he was there for all of our projects lending a helping... paw? Here's a little proof:
Mazda helping John build a large floating device on our living room floor in Savannah. This project was insane. It was for an entire quarter & I never thought I would see so many mock ups of boats while trying to relax in the living room...
He was helping, really! This was a time when I pulled an all nighter so I think it was around 4 am. He needed to get his cat nap in.
Holding down another one of Johns projects.
and helping me sketch a new apparel collection
But wait..he didn't just do school work, he partied too!
We had a Mexican theme party for Johns 20th birthday, so Bean wore a sombrero.
Everything was great with Mazda Bean until our move to Texas, I guess he just didn't like it there or something, but he started to pick his fur out & it hasn't stopped since, even though he is in Cincinnati now. We have tried everything to stop him, seriously. Did you know cats can take Paxil (the anti-depressant)? Mazda's proof.
Here he is, taken yesterday on his 8th birthday:
I know, he isn't the most attractive cat in the world these days..but he's still my little assistant & does a wonderful job of holding down papers. (John just came upstairs & told me I'm a crazy cat lady, so I better end it there!)

  3. How Cute and that hat is so great :)
My Bitty-Bitty started clwaing out her hair (near her ears) and she was put on Prozac, but got too loopy. Then the Vet decided that she has allergies, and sure enough she does. A dollop of cream behind her ears, and no more digging :)
She is on kitty Celebrex for arthritis. She's 18 and has arthritis. Poor Boo!
