And of course because I have a baby due to arrive any day, people referred to my strange & unusual behavior as nesting.
Here is the conversation between John & myself during dinner one night (shortened):
John: 'So should I start looking in corners and closets for twigs & moss?'
Me: 'What?'
John: 'Everyone says your nesting!?!'
I couldn't stop laughing & to add to belief that I have in fact lost my mind, this past Sunday I set out on a search for some twigs and branches to bring home. John came along as well as Adobe. After I saw the look of fear on Johns face, thinking I had really lost it, I told him not to worry, it's just for a craft project I am working on for the nursery walls.
As the twigs & sticks still lay gathered on the front porch, I am not sure if he is convinced. He still continues to email me tutorials on 'how to build a nest'

haha! you're too funny!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you're making with the twigs. I just used some too in a project the other day. I'll be posting about it sometime soon.
I think we'll be getting some pretty exciting updates soon...good luck!
ReplyDeleteThis is probably the most hilarious blog post I've ever read. Good luck - Hopefully Myles makes things easier for you by escaping soon!
ReplyDeleteVery funny! I've heard of the cleaning/nesting theory too. Even if it was while reading Shopaholic and Baby :)
