We finished the project in record time. In less than 2 weeks, just working on it nights and weekends, we had walls & railing torn down, new walls put up, new carpet, new paint (even the ceiling was repainted) & added insulation in the walls. It wouldn't have been possible though without the help of our wonderful neighbors. We are so blessed!
This was when we were in the thick of it all.
Proudly I say, this is what it looks like today:
My desk, lovely pink filing cabinet & all office related things. I tried to keep it all of my office stuff one side of my work area so it's convenient when doing the 'business part' of FENNOfashion.

Pictures of my family and my pink lamp, pink speakers and other things like candles really help warm up the space for me. (Yes,pink is my favorite color, how did you guess?)
My fabric collection and dress form.
Storage for everything else. I like it open or labeled so I know right where everything is. Some of the things I keep on this wall: vintage handbags, trim, fabric remnants, shipping supplies, pattern papers, paint, crafty stuff, stationary, packaging & sewing supplies.
My bead table, it's usually a pretty big mess.

My inventory wall where I hang all the my necklaces & bracelets that are made. It's pretty bare at the moment.
My earring inventory. John built this long metal and wood rack pictured above that spans part of the wall. It works out great because I can see what I have, how many I have of each design and they are all safe and out of the way.
This is the stairwell and part of the new walls up. It is hard to tell what is what when you aren't looking at everything in person!
Hopefully I gave you some ideas for you studio. We rushed to get this project done over the summer after finding out about our new little addition. John also works from home and we needed to move him back upstairs so we could use his downstairs office as the nursery. I was so worried there wouldn't be enough room again, but I learned it isn't about the size of your place to work. It is how well it is organized and utilizing the space you have. We couldn't be happier!

Your studio looks amazing! It's both personal and professional, which is really nice. I especially like your jewelry displays.
