Wow... I have been meaning to blog the past week and a half but hadn't had the chance! I was bed ridden for about 4 days due to being sick then once I felt a little bit better, where I was only in bed half the day, I had to get my place cleaned up and ready for my mom and dad's visit. They came in last Saturday and left this past Saturday.
We had a great time and managed to do a lot and get a lot done!
We went to Fredericksburg, Texas for a day trip and this is where I took the picture above. I was fascinated with this fake women hanging around outside of a shop. My only disappointment was that she wasn't wearing my jewelry. Fredericksburg is such a eclectic little German town. We had the best German lunch and then went shopping at all of the old fashioned drug stores and boutiques.
Another highlight of the trip was being about to 'wow' my mom and dad with our cooking.
We made delicious shrimp kabobs along side of crab legs.
Most nights after eatting more than our stomachs should hold, we went for walks around the parks by my place.
And I even took them to see my turkey friends that I always happen to pass on my jogs.
Those were just some of the highlights of their trip. We went to all of my favorite restaurants including Chuys and Fish Daddys and we had our last dinner together at another favorite, Carinos.
