Latest news & updates!

What a week...and it's just starting again!
So here is are some news and updates just until I am able to blog again which will be Thursday.

I keep promising more U.R.E.C. purses on the website but every time I go to add one to the site, it ends up landing in one of the boutiques here in Austin. I am not complaining, but I wanted to let you know they are going to be on the website at some point, as in hopefully this coming weekend, if a few more don't sneak off in the meantime.
John and I officially decided to buy a house this summer, so it's going to be a little tough on me and the business while transitioning. But once settled, it will be that much more better, I can promise you that!
One of my best friends from elementary school will be arriving later today from Cincinnati so I can start working on designing and making her wedding dress. The whole fam is coming, so that will be a lot of fun!
And last but surely not least, I leave you with a picture of our cat Stanley's paw. Every so often we like to think of our cats as children, and since they can't sign Mother's Day cards we decided to ink their paws with hot pink ink and have them sign that way. No worries, they were unharmed and the ink is non-toxic!

  1. Okay, I know you didn't hurt the cat, but that's just cruel! You had to give him some sort of kitty complex! Some people just shouldn't be allowed to own animals. You aren't planning on having any children, are you?

  2. That purse is adorable! I love the "strap" so fantastic!

and... I'm not sure how inking their paws would give a cat a complex. I don't think it's cruel either.
Quirky - yes. Cruel - no.

Have a fantastic weekend & post the dress when you are done with it!

I have been inking my kitties paws for years and they are fine, 17lbs each and all!
