Well, good news..you got it! Part of my new 'Crafty Home Series' of blog posts, I bring you my somewhat finished workplace and where you can get the goods to help you stay organized as well!
Above is my desk, computer, files, office supplies, etc, etc... My favorite idea I had: two memory boards on each side of my monitor. They have business cards from other crafty folks, a forecast for Texas to remind me that is was 106 the day I left, inspiration, news....etc. Below is the side wall next to my desk:
Here on the side of my desk I keep my calendar for the month, my weekly to do list on the dry erase board, (empty now, I know, that is because I am going to Texas tomorrow) and other random tidbits of information.
Also a framed progression of my business cards, even back when I first started and named my little side business Megan Design back in 2004.

Another pic of the side of my desk... and yes... I love the color pink that much to have a pink trash can, pink filing cabinet I surprisingly found at Walmart and a pink lamp. Framed on the window sill is a picture of Rebecca of Liam of York and me when we tried out for Project Runway in Chicago. The other frame is one that my friend Lindsay hand carved, painted and added pink rhinestones too..just for me!

I should be in some add for Ikea, because most of my furniture came from there. The two gray cabinets keep all my shipping supplies neat and organized. To the right of my shipping supplies are all of my U.R.E.C. handbag supplies, fabric, paints, sewing stuff and other random sewing and crafty things. The shelves, wire bins and plastic organizers all all part of the Ikea Antonious line. They work great, 100% customizable and fairly inexpensive.
You already got a chance to see my beads all organized in my previous blog post but here they are again. Under the table is more fabric and to the left are a few older magazines (most I keep in our newly redone library room) and in the drawers are colored pencils, watercolors, oil & acrylic paints.
It was love at first sight when I saw this case at Ikea. I had to have it! I put all my indie show/craft fair stuff in this case, like my displays and signs and promotional materials.
Ah, and the jewelry wall below. It's where I keep most of my inventory. I had these boards in Texas, but I had to have them cut down to fit on the walls of our house here. (yes they are pink, you guessed it!)
There is more but I think you got the gist of it all. Any other good ideas to organize? Its hard when you have so much stuff in such a small space. I could fill my whole house with all the things I have in this one room!
I TOTALLY envy you -- I have ABSOLUTELY no space in which to craft, let alone design. Yours is wonderful!
