A Day at the Fair

The weather this weekend has been absolutely wonderful. There is that cool crisp feeling of fall coming in and the smell just makes me so happy. Fall is by far my favorite season.

We've skipped the past year or two but decided this year to spend a little time at the Harvest Home Fair. I went to this same fair almost every year as a child with my parents and grandparents, so it brought back a lot of good memories. 

They still have animal shows with kids showing off their pets which made me think a few years down the road that would be fun for Myles to take our cornish rex cat, Pippy and dress her up. I did that with the cornish rex I had growing up and we always won a trophy! It was something I always looked forward to for months.

Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves and Myles especially liked the animals so he could recite the noises they make as he peeked through the wooden fences. 

Myles was fascinated with the carousel. I really think he could have stood there all day. 

All in all, we had a great time. What's even better, Myles took a great nap when we got home!
