I was really anticipating the premiere of season 7, since I somehow missed season 6! Maybe because I didn't hear much about it... and what I did hear, claims it was weird since being filmed in LA.
This season’s lineup includes some early standouts. Among them,
Ping Wu, a China-born full time physical therapist and well as a designer who has a unusual way of designing her clothes, using her own body as the dressform. Then there was
Anthony Williams, who says it was hard growing up black and gay in his hometown in Alabama. Then there was
Jesse LeNoir, an actor as well as a designer who once performed as Captain Jack Sparrow at Disney World in his home base of Orlando.
Then there’s a bunch of other designers whom I am sure we will all get to know better as the season continues. I just recently found out
Ben Chmura went to the same college as John and I,
Savannah College of Art & Design. He received his BFA in fashion design in 2001, so we never crossed paths.
Anyway, I think this will definitely be an interesting season. I was already surprised by who they eliminated last night. I thought the dress was an okay design, better than others! Whats your thought?

ReplyDeleteI was shocked at the first elimination too! i mean, I didn't think that dress what that horrible, especially compared to some of the others!
Ping will definitely be interesting. I don't expect her to last long.
I am right behind you Jen, I don't think Ping will go to far. There is a lot of talent on this season. I can't wait to see the 2nd episode!
