4 U.R.E.C handbags are now on MEWfashion.com!

So far 4 of the U.R.E.C bags are here and ready to check out at FENNOfashion.com under the category 'Handbags'!
Yep, this one is mine. Sorry guys..There will be more like it, I promise!
I was going to have 5 available, but I decided to keep one for myself. I needed a new purse, my Kathy Van Zeeland bag was wearing out and I would rather sport my own handbag line anyway :) If you don't know the story behind the U.R.E.C. bags, click here for a previous post I wrote describing them.
Here are some pictures of the process of the 'Red Saucy Deco' Handbag: That bag was a tough one to make, just because of the vast difference between materials used.
Cutting it up, you can really take some pent up aggression this way...
The red textured vinyl layed out
So I know I skipped a few steps, but I did however remember to take a picture of the lining before it went in the handbag. It's way harder to take a picture of the inside of a handbag once its made!
Pictured here is the other side of the lining. Yes, this handbag has mass amounts of pockets and such for organzing, a bonus if you ask me.
The 'Saucy Red Deco' completed. You can see where I used the red texture vinyl: The top band of the bag, in the dangly chains and intertwined in the chain handle.
Modeling me..Here I am with the handbag so you can get an idea of the size, and see the pretty red bottom! Oh yeah, and it also has two pockets on the sides of the bag with a fancy red snap to finish them off. Oh la la.
Lastly, I thought you would like to see the mess that takes place when I am making these handbags. I have learned to wear shoes in my studio after stepping on pins about ten times...
