Me with Elisa
This past Thursday night I had the privilege of meeting Elisa Jimenez, who was on Season 4 of Project Runway. She had a trunk show going on right in the heart of downtown Austin in a hip bar/lounge by the name of Malverde in the 2nd Street District. So John, Alan (MEWfashion Director of Marketing) and I all made a night of it, dining downtown and then hanging out for awhile at the Pop-up & Play, a one-day-only boutique showcase, chatting with Elisa and her partner in crime, Moe Nadel of Meader Ware.

It was so nice talking to Elisa. She really has a great outlook on life and fashion, which is probably why she has had such a successful career, long before she was ever on Project Runway. I know we will all see more of her and Moe Nadel creating fabulous clothes and bags for a long time to come!
How fun, I didn't even know she was in town. Not like I could have the left the house to go anyway. She always seemed really up beat on the show. Isn't she from Austin or Texas or something?
